Mary Grisham is accused of something she says she did not do. The only problem is what she's accused of is murdering her seemingly two-timing boyfriend! And not only that --there's apparently an eyewitness who has pinpointed her as the murderer.
I think many of us know what it feels like to be falsely accused and the fact that it hurts. That's why when news travels through the grapevine about someone, whether it's via social media or word of mouth, I always keep an open mind. Not everything you hear is true and not everyone who speaks is trustworthy. Imagine you being the subject of gossip, knowing that what's been said couldn't be further from the truth, but there's nothing you can do to quiet the noise. Not a good feeling, is it?
I can't say if Mary Grisham, who works at the prestigious law firm of J. Wilfred & Co. is actually innocent or guilty, but I do know that her co-workers, Barbara and Harry, whom she clearly hates are going to get to the bottom of the matter - one way or another.
